K9 Protection

Having a protection dog at your company can offer several benefits, especially when it comes to security, employee morale, and overall peace of mind. Here are some key advantages:

1. Enhanced Security

Deterrence: Just the presence of a trained protection dog can discourage theft, trespassing, or any criminal activity.

Immediate Threat Detection: Dogs have strong senses and can detect intruders or threats faster than humans or even some surveillance systems.

2. Quick Response to Danger

Protection dogs are trained to react quickly to commands and threats, giving you an added layer of defense before law enforcement arrives.

3. Support for Security Personnel

A protection dog can work alongside your security staff, helping them cover more ground and be more effective in their roles.

4. Cost-Effective Long-Term

While the initial investment may be high, the long-term savings from prevented losses, reduced need for multiple guards, and less property damage can outweigh the costs.

5. Boosts Morale and Safety

Employees often feel safer knowing a well-trained dog is present, especially in areas prone to security risks (like night shifts or remote locations).

6. Public Relations & Brand Image

A visible commitment to security can strengthen your company’s reputation, especially in industries where safety is a top concern (e.g., logistics, manufacturing, or events).

7. Versatility

Protection dogs can be trained not only for physical security but also for detection of drugs, explosives, or hazardous materials if needed.

This is a specialized field where we would place a K9 unit on site when the request arises. The K9 will be stationed on site. If a K9 is required for a certain period of time, a kennel will be on site.

These Dogs are registered with the Security Regulator and are all trained on a DH2 level meaning, the dog only works on leash and follows all basic commands. These dogs are also trained to attack on demand.

The K9 will patrol with the Officer during his shift. The K9's sense of hearing and smell is far superior than a human, allowing the K9 to detect possible breach of security and prewarns the Officer of any possible threat. The K9 is trained to bite on leash should the threat be positive.

We take huge pride in these K9s and they receive the best care we can provide. The K9s are fed and looked after by the Dog Handler. Regular checks from an independent party are performed for general health conditions and to ensure that there are no underlying medical issues.
